The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in strength within the city.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will separate from the main group to embark on their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group features Teor (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party understands precisely where to go next after a violent first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—used the foes for his own means, entering the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the party reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them no alternative but to head to the northern region in search of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Questers and Strategists parties.

Viewers can look forward to learning which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
